Bitumen Emulsion Grade CSS-1

CSS-1 cationic bitumen emulsion is an emulsified asphalt containing minimum 57% bitumen. It is

a low viscosity emulsion used mainly for prime coating in place of cutback asphalt.

CSS-1 cationic bitumen emulsion is equivalent to American Standard ASTM D2397 : Grade CSS-1.

APPLICATION

CSS-1 cationic bitumen emulsion is sprayed at ambient temperature at the rate of 0.50 to 1.00 liter

per square meter. Generally, a rate of 0.7 liters per square meter is used.
